I visited www.nba.com this morning and one of the greatest players to ever graze the court is retiring. Scottie Pippen, regarded as the best all around player, 6 time NBA champion and my favorite player since I was in grade 4 is finally hanging up his coat and calling it a night. Its time to say goodbye to an icon, I will miss the days I would emphatically cheer for the Bulls or the Blazers and emphatically jeer at the opposing teams. It was as though I was there watching the game, hearing them trash talk and even playing the game. My mom would always barge in saying, "Why are you shouting?! Sino minumura mo?" and I would go, "Gago si John Starks (played for the Knicks) e, naka-shoot ng trey (for the basketball illiterate: trey = 3 pointer). I will miss how I'd spend my Saturday mornings infront of the tube and eat breakfast and lunch while watching the games, especially double headers hehehe. I will miss the times I'd play NBA Live with Charles, Jem or Jules and they'd always taunt me by saying, "Pippen bulok!" To Charles: Hindi si Pippen bulok, Payton mo bulok! Si Jem, madaya puro 3 point glich! Si Jules....practice ka muna, ang bano mo e. Lakers ka na nga, hindi mo pa ako matalo. Hahahahaha, loko lang dude. Pero, totoo naman e.

Hay, today's gonna be a really long day for me, I'm practically dragging myself to study. Hay, oh well, at least I get to have coffee. Oh the simple joys of a student. Di bale na pagod sa school basta may coffee.
